Talin is 22 months old and he has been diagnosed with the following conditions: right aortic arch with an aberrant left subclavian artery, mirrored heart and a bicuspid aortic valve. since his diagnosis at 4 weeks old, he has had trouble breathing, swallowing and eating like children should. the cardiologist preformed an echocardiogram on him recently and it showed that there was some changes, so they ordered an upper GI. during the upper GI they noticed that his esophagus has a 50% or better closure, that explains why he is as small as he is and his feeding and choking. after the test was preformed he got a case of strider. the doctors called us on 12/3/08 to let us know that we will be having one more test done (either a MRI or a Cat scan) before we do any surgeries. they want to find out if his arch and artery has in fact formed a complete vascular ring (which is what they are thinking has happened), they also need to know if the aorta and the artery are wrapped around the trachea before they move further. the doctors are also needing to see if he has ductus arteriosus as well. we are all hoping and praying for this baby, he is truly a miracle baby of ours. my husband was told by doctors that he would never have children and we were blessed with our 4 year old Bryndi and the again with our 22 month old John "Talin", they have definately been gifts from God from the very beginning and we have been so blessed to be able to have them. times have been tough lately and we are just pulling together with all the prayers to make all of this happen for John "Talin". Hopefully we will be able to get some benefits together such as bike rides and possibly a cookout. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated. And most of all please keep him in all your prayers and please put him on all the prayer list possible. Forward this website to anyone else that can put him on their prayers as well. My daughter just celebrated her 10th yr in remission from stage 3 cancerPLUS she just had a baby(her dream come true!) Will do what I can when I can. Meanwhile, thoughts and prayers everyday!!!

It is a calling that God gave me many years ago, as in pastoral care/and healing. And I want to know that I truly feel that your son is going to make a full recovery. Many times in my life for myself and others I've claimed the promises God has written in his Word. And those prayers have been answered. Some Christians, and even myself many years ago did not understand the true meaning behind what Christ did for us on the cross. He did, not only go to the cross for the forgiveness of our sin is and our salvation, but he went there for our healing as well. God's Word says that the stripes that he took were for our healing/sickness. Past present and future. There are many scriptures that I could list for you, claiming his promise. The most important thing though is to realize you have the authority in Christ's name to ask for this healing for your son. By what he has done on the cross for us.
