Description:	We need prayers, lotsa prayers, for my good friend Cherries (Kimberly D.)and her family. Her oldest son Nicholas was diagnosed with Leukemia yesterday and is in the hospital- he is 16... He has already undergone a blood transfusion and further testing is underway as well. I talked to Cherries' fiance Rob-o today and he said Nick was in good spirits, eating pizza and drinking a soda after one of the tests, thank God for that. I will try to keep things up to date here. Meanwhile, the more prayers the better!! Thanks All!! Jayrod

He was doing pretty good for awhile then things turned around, 7 pints of blood and 3 pints of platelets in the last week. Once he has stabilized and the blood count returns to near normal, he can resume chemo. Please keep the prayers coming!! 	Durty Whyte Boy wrote at 1/3/2009 2:07:19 PM -> UPDATE!!! I just received this email from Biker Chick (Benita) so I thought I'd pass it on. Thanks Benita!! Happy New Year To Everyone!! Well I couldn't think of a better way to start off 2009 then with great news about Nick. I just spoke to Kimberly. Nick had a bone biopsy earlier this week and the results are in. I am happy to report that there are "no abnormal cells present" which means there is no sign of the Leukemia!!!! This does not mean that Nick is out of the woods nor does it mean he is in remission. Nick will continue on a maintenance plan which will include weekly spinal treatments, PEG shots, and home health care treatments. We need to make sure that this ugly disease stays away before we can let our guard down. It is obvious that all of the love, support and prayers of everyone has seen Nick and his family through this ordeal. Thanks to everyone and keep the prayers coming. You all rock, thanks everyone!!
