Please sign in by 'ATTENDING' (or JOINING) the event. .................... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can either (A) -----> Answer the hint posed (posted) by someone else by NAMING the TITLE and ARTIST. You do that - by typing your answer in the box where it says "Write Something' and then click 'Add Your Comment" .................................................. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- or (B) -----> Type in a line or 2 (or 3) of lyrics to a song YOU KNOW and one that you think, MOST PEOPLE would be familiar with ........ A 'Good Place to Start' might be taking a look at your personal PLAYLIST --- and grab a few lyrics off of the songs you've already chosen. (easy) .......... PLEASE include the release date (the 'decade' is fine) then, wait to see who answers. ........................... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you post a hint to a song --- please be kind enough to check back and acknowledge when someone else guesses it correctly. ALSO --- if nobody guesses your song after a day-or-so feel free to come back and REPOST it Add a line or two of additional lyrics to give more of a hint. THAT's IT! --- Quick - Easy and FUN !! -------------------------> By the way, if you know a song, but can't think of the words, go to www.Playlist.com / click on SEARCH FOR MUSIC / then type in the song title (or artist) ... THIS WORKS for posting lyrical hints - but DOESN'T WORK for getting the answer.

Mungo Jerry are an English folk/classic rock group whose greatest success was in the early 1970s, though they have continued throughout the years with an ever-changing line-up, always fronted by Ray Dorset. They are remembered above all for their hit "In the Summertime". It remains the most successful and most instantly recognisable summer song.[1] Their name was inspired by the poem Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer, from T. S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats.(borrowed from Wiki-pedia)

Zardoz & Beemo- As we all do, I started reading way down there so I would be reading in order...When I read Beemo's reply to Honey...I immediately! had this picture in my mind & why Beemo commented the way he did! ...(wait-did I just come from Hippie Revolution...) PICTURE THIS a group of guys leaning on their bikes, drinkin beer, listening to music blasting out of someone's car (or truck-I am from AL) Hootin' & hollerin' as we called it...all of a sudden, Honey starts playing...I can hear one of the guys (probably Beemo) yelling "Somebody put in a' 8-Track!" LMAO! so funny...thanks! Zar- It was played a million times...Here's Wiki-proof: The single reached Number 2 in the UK Singles Chart on two separate occasions (1968 and 1975), selling in excess of one million copies. In Australia, "Honey" also made it to #1, ranked #10 overall for the year 1968, and is ranked at #25 on the Oz Net Music Chart's Top 100 for the 1960s. It became his first country hit and was the beginning of his hits becoming more successful on the country charts than on the pop charts. Goldsboro's last top 40 hits in pop music came in 1973/1974, although he remained a fixture in the Country top 40 for the rest of the 1970s and well into the early 1980s.
