As a man who has lost two dear friends in the space of a week to cancer and a brain tumour I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to Bubba's friends and family. Stay strong and hey, remember the good times, that's how we all would want it to be. Be in peace Bro. John

I am so shocked by this. Been sick for a few days and only on and off here. Bubba and I exchanged many wonderful emails, and I looked forward to meeting him and his when I traveled to Florida this spring. I am heartbroken, and send my condolensces and prayers to him, his family and friends. May he rest in peace and ride with the angels.

Wow, sooo sorry to hear of Bubba's passing. Really wish had a chance to meet such a special person & gentle spirit like him, coulda used a few pointers w/my critters too. Lucky Bubba; He went just the way everyone wants. The GLORY doing the what ONE Cherishes & Loves when go meet our Great Creator & it be a fast passing. He sure did something right, to go like that. Bubba lived life to the fullest. He is our example how it should be lived. Love, laugh, enjoy. He did just that. I loved to talk horse with him. The world has lost an amazing soul who is now looking down on us & telling us to get crying....Gods speed my friend...:-(

I cannot attend the funeral, I, however will be there friday night for the viewing. I wanted to offer ALL out of towners, or even in towners a place of refuge for the duration if you need a place to lay your head.

Those of you who want to come up ~ bring your things and head over after funeral are more than welcome! Bring air matress if ya have one! Got lots of floor space and two couches! bring tent got room for those too!

ok here is the info page theus funeral home 9th and main street leesburg fla... viewing is fri at 7 to 9 pm funeral is sat at 10 am.... and yes calibrator we just spoke with his son and he would love for all of us BON and CMF family to be there.... lets create a ride in his honor..

Obviously there will be a lot of bikes at Bubba’s services. Out of respect for Bubba and his family may I suggest that his friends make an effort to be organized. Can we get a message to the family and ask them about their thoughts, for example I am sure that many of Bubba’s brother’s and sisters would be honored to escort the hearse. Provided that would be permissible.

I think all us CMF should be there count me in let me know when and i will be on the road

I just got a call from Bubba's son Brandon. He is at the funeral home now and will let me know the details.Brandon asks that if at all possible he would like for Bubba's BON friends be in attendance.I think this would be awesome to give his son and a tribute to Bubba.I will keep everyone posted as i find out more.

Aw, Bubba, you were such a sweetheart! It was so-o good to know you! this is the first I've read of him passing, and am shocked here. Jusy saw him, it seems. All my friends, you have enriched my life, and I am blessed to know you all and have you all in my life, just like with Bubba. God rest his soul.

I’m still numb from the news. Bubba was an original for sure and the man could ride. Of the memories with Bubba the picture that keeps popping into my head and the one I can’t shake this morning is when we were parked next to each other one day and he called me. When I turned around he had this grin on his face and that propeller cap on his head. Yeah he was an original, one of kind, and he will be missed

He's was so silly! Typical Bubba! On Sunday's run I thought he was way up infront of me since I was bringing up the rear and then all of a sudden out of nowhere ~ there's BUBBA! OMG! we laughed and laughed and laughed! I am really gonna miss him! As we all are................We talked yesterday morning and his last comment was "Lady Chief ~ you are just too cool!" Missin' you bro!

Or how about the time he came and picked us up in his truck so we all didn't get drowned going to deland to root lady chief to victory!!!! And then it didnt rain LOL...Always looking out for his friends, he was ;-)

I would like to tell a story about the kind of person this man was. When I was on the road moving from Florida to New Mexico Bubba called me, it was on a Saturday night. HE said to me " I have a little surprise for you, I know you wanted to see JImmy Sparks play one more time before you left but you didn't get a chane to do so, he then said hold on darlin this one's for you. At tha moment I hear someone yell CMF and then lit into a guitar solo. It was Jimmy Sparks and he dedicated and played me a song right there over the telephone. Bubba did that for me because that was the kinda of person he was.... I love you my brother.

I am in total shock this morning. Bubba you had a powerful impact on my heart and soul. Never before have I seen someone so unselfishly give his words of advice and comfort to me in my times of sorrow. So I hear of this sad news and one of the first people I would run to is the one person I can't.....my heart aches. Rest in Peace Bubba I will miss you.

What a great guy. We met this past memorial day at a lake pan event. Have looked forward to our rides ever since. Was just up at his house and rode to the pre-hunt party and to the rodeo together. He just had the dam battery changed in his pace maker. You will be missed by me and Lynn and all you have touched mate.

I will truly miss my dear sweet friend. He was one of a kind and I loved him. If I would have only known Saturday was our last ride....

Just had an awesome ride with him yesterday out to Sleepy Hollow...even stopped and did the 2008 global ice cream tour with him on the way home...chocolate ice cream cone...damn we had fun!!!...he is truly one of a kind!
