It takes years to build up trust, but only seconds to destroy it. You can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that you'd better know something. Don't compare yourself to the best others can do, But to the best you can do.
It's not what happens to people that's important, It’s what they do about it. Always leave loved ones with loving words, it may be the last time you see them.
You control your attitude or it controls you. It isn't always enough to be forgiven by others, Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Your background and circumstances may Have influenced who you are, But you are responsible for who you become.
Even if you do the right thing for the wrong reason, It’s still the wrong thing to do.
I always speak straight to the point with with caring.

I Like MEN! Street smart, educated, articulately expressive men who are honest, hard working, funny, affectionate, and value the trust of their friends and loved ones. I’m appreciative of the guy who doesn’t need drugs, booze or cigarettes to get through life or have “fun”. my ideal man doesn’t think it old fashioned to open the car door for me, or help me with my jacket. I especially adore my pets: Boxers, cats, bunnies (of course) and lots of other kinds of animals. I love horses, had them most of my life – quarter horses especially.
My biggest Turn on is my Recovery from a lifetime of suicide on the installment plan: active drug and alcohol addiction. I am so grateful that my HP kept me alive thru all my near death experiences of OD’s and auto wrecks and led me to a detox and the rooms of NA n AA. By the grace of God (HP) and the support and education I got in NA/AA I will have 22 years clean this May 8,2010.

About Me: Wouldn't you know it? Yesterday I had a flat tire on I-91. I eased my car over to the shoulder of the road, carefully got out of the car and opened the trunk. I took out 2 cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them at the rear of my car facing oncoming traffic. They look so lifelike you wouldn't believe! They are in trench coats, exposing their nude bodies and private parts to the approaching drivers. I started to change my tire, and to my surprise, cars started slowing down looking at my lifelike men. And of course, traffic started backing up. Everybody was tooting their horns and waving like crazy. It wasn't long before a trooper pulled up behind me. He got out of his car and started walking towards me. I could tell he was not happy! "What's going on here?" "My car has a flat tire," I said calmly. "Well, what the hell are those obscene cardboard men doing here by the road?" I couldn't believe that he didn't recognize emergency flashers!"
