Introduction:
Thank you so much to everyone that was at the memorial both in person and in spirit. It was a very moving service and touched alot of hearts. I know there are those that would like to be there Sat, but will not be able to make it - their thoughts and prayers will be there and that means the world to me.
Hugs Sue **************** Christopher passed away 3:50 am Sat Nov 8, 2008. There will be visitation to visit with family and friends from 4 - 6 pm Wed with a short service at 6 pm at Hightower Funeral Home 7034 West Broad Street Douglasville, ga 30134. Sat Nov 15 we are going to have a memorial motorcycle ride. Meet at 1pm upper level Arbor Place mall parking lot in front of entrance to movie theatre. Kickstands up 2pm. My cell is 404-556-7580 Sue
*********************************************** - My son was transferred to Tranquility Hospice. I stayed overnight in his room and was able to lie in bed with him snuggle and read the bible to him and talk about alot of happy memories.
I am so very touched by the tremendous amount of people that have let me know that Chris touched their lives. I knew he knew alot of people, but not to the extent that have contacted us in the past few days. Listening to his friends talk to him and tell stories has really warmed my heart.
Hugs Sue
********************************* My 17 year old son Chris was working in a hunted house - sheets hanging from the ceiling somehow got wrapped around his neck and his panicking tightened it - he was unconcious and no pulse when they found him - they dont know to what extent of brain damage - we are thinking positive that there will not be any - his eyes are fixed and he barely responds to pain stimulas - thankfully the EKG shows that there is brain activity - they also did a cat scan and mri but they are inconclusive - it happened about 9:30 wed night they put him in a drug induced comma so that his body could rest - took him off Thursday so that they could assess his mental state - unfortunately he still has not woke up - He is at Kennestone hospital - coronary intensive care unit - blue tower room B501 thank you all for your prayers. ******************************
Did not get my license until a few months before my 40th birthday. In the 5 years since I have rode a little over 30,000. First on Virago 535 and now have a yamaha vstar 650. I do the majority of riding by myself, but looking to find others to ride with also - sometimes I do ride with the misfits riding club.
I also enjoy on road & occassionally mountain bicycling, have done several brag rides (bike ride across Georgia) and one bike Florida ride.

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.
The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall.
When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.
The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.
The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.
The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.
He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.
If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.
Moral:
Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don't judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through challenging patches and better times are sure to come some time or later
