Introduction:

A woman's debt is always paid:
Once for any simple trade.
Twice for freely given aid.
Thrice for any insult made.

If you are looking for a barbie doll, look somewhere else. Don't waste your time here and don't insult me. I am secure in who I am.. I hope that you are also. It took me a lot of years to get to this point. A requirement of a true friend is NOT a tiny waist or heart shaped ass.. or tight butt and broad shoulders with bulging muscles. A true friend is someone that will be there for you through thick and thin.. because they love you for who you are. I won't settle for less than that.

I am a whole lot of woman with a large heart who loves riding and laughing. I smoke, I drink (Heck, I brew my own), My humour can be "unacceptable at the country club" at times and I don't go to church either Sunday mornings or Friday nights. I have been riding since I was 12 and owned my own since I was 19, so I have a couple miles under my belt. I have recently moved up to the borderlands of Northern WI and the MI Upper Penninsula and don't have any new local riding buddies up here yet but that will change now that I am settling in here. I am down to earth and appreciate home made things.. I make my own beer, mead, wine and soap and am learning to cook... so far, the cooking things is pretty iffy, but I am getting better at it. Having recently moved from Lake County, Illinois to the WI Northwoods is insuring this.. they don't deliver pizzas or chinese out here.!

When I started riding there weren't many other ladies out there with their faces in the wind. Frankly women weren't much interested in riding back then and I spent years being somewhat of a novelty to many people... I am an old school biker tho... woman or not. Not many understand. I learned maintenance on my bike as I broke down and very patient friends would help me out, showing me how to get the bike running again. Some of those who taught me to ride and wrech are considered legends now... to me, they are forever friends.. and I love them...That was a tough way to learn however, I had to keep up and I had to be smarter... but there are many good men out there I thank in my mind regularly for the help they gave me. I spent many long hours on the side of the road back in my 20's.... oh alright.. and my 30's.........

I am a 'succesfull' and 'retired' business owner origionally from Northern Illinois who now happily makes and sells soap out of her basement. I am single mostly by choice. I accepted long ago that men don't like large women, or won't admit it, but do still hope someday for an excellent 50/50 relationship with the right man if he comes along. It will take a very strong and very patient, loving man to deal with me.

And if he doesn't come along....... well, I am pretty darn happy with life as it is... especially now that I am in my 40's and not broke down on the side of the road on the weekends anymore.. ;-)

It has been an incredible spring with the big move and the new house is fabulous with the bald eagles, loons and bears.. loving it! I am tired and I am happy. Moving to this beautiful area may have been the smartest thing I ever did.. it seems like heaven to me.

I am content here in the woods and hills.. I have found I am as happy with the ATV on the trails as I am with my bike on the road. The ATV lets me stop and see the nature in a spectacular way.. the bear are out up behind the ski hill. The moose are growing in population here also and the little ones are starting to move in and there are wild berries to be picked for winemaking.

Don't ask me to go back to the city.. or even the suburbs. I want woods and mountains for the rest of my life.. and will travel to the ocean or overseas as I can.. but I have found serenity. Happiness comes from within.. and I have found it.
Activities:
reading, riding and SCUBA (pretty much anything to do with water), nature and learning......

and laughter.....
.
Interests:
10% fixed rate
Favorite Music:
classic rock and blues
Favorite TV Shows:
NFL, CNN, Burn Notice, House.. and Son's of Anarchy

Favorite Movies:
depends on my mood... dare I say Wild Hogs.. lol
Favorite Books:
My favorites are the Easton Press 1st edition science fiction books.. the best of each month shows up signed by the author each month, but there isn't much I won't read. Right now I am really enjoying the new vampire and werewolf "romance" novels. Guilty summer pleasures..
About Me:
I am not proud of everything I have done and I am not ashamed of everything either. As a younger lady I have been controlling, manipulative and selfish.... and I have had FUN FUN FUN... and have stories and a lot of laughter behind me. I have never been accused of not being honest tho.. or not loyal to my friends.

I am getting older tho.. and am settling down and becoming more of a homebody. Altho I still get gypsy feet, I can control them easily these days. Maybe I was too selfish once apon a time, but there isn't going back for anyone or anything and I don't know that I would if I could. I can only try to be a better person in the future and more accepting of others.
