Introduction:
Just looking to meet folks to ride with and hang with. Live in St. Augustine and currently looking for my first bike, intending to make it a primary mode of transport. Looking for people to learn from, work on bikes with, explore the area with and laugh with. ride, shoot pool, shoot the stuff, surf (yes I surf - or try anyway), hang at the house, play games... bring it.
Kind of quiet, definitely love people, love to laugh; can be a bit of a goof... :)
Have a serious case of wanderlust even though I love lazy long nights and mornings at home. I'd prefer traveling than staying home all bloody day long. I don't mind working in the yard or in the garage, but I have to have my adventure at least once or twice a month. |

About Me:
too much to tell. Loving, faithful, adventurous, open-minded, free-spirited but loyal kind of person, trying to keep it simple after wayyyy too much drama for a while. I just wanna be a happy person surrounded by good people who become good friends, have fun, relax and keep the drama to a minimum. FYI - I'm not here looking for romantic relationships; I'm just looking for friends of like mind and folks to have fun with (see above). I'm always looking forward to the next bike ride. I'm looking forward to my first scoot tho I confess I still love riding behind my guy. Something about wrapping my arms around him while we're riding and soaking in the air, the sun, the night sky, the feel of the road beneath the wheels, vibrating up through the rubber and steel, his heart beneath my hands, or my hands resting on his waist... legs wrapped around his - it's as wonderfully zen as my surfboard and running.
That's the way I live life; experiencing the moment completely.
when you find something good, keep it close to you. Don't let bullfeathers cloud your vision and if you do, take a shower and get some glasses.
Sometimes you need to take a break in the storm, but you don't quit the journey.

I've had experiences I was lucky to walk away from doing lots of things... I love more deeply because of it.
Honesty, faithfulness, compassion, fairness, openness and caring are a way of life, regardless of how I 'feel'. I always care about those things. I've seen too much sadness from the opposites of those qualities... I won't spread those diseases if I can help it.
Priorities - you gotta LIVE - you're only living this moment one time. Give your all but relax. Stay true, find the truth, be wrong sometimes and larn from ur mistakes.
Your family is your family and for some of us your friends are all the family you got... you don't leave anyone you've said you love or will be there for. Period. I don't live that disposable people/divorce mentality.
Never stop loving, never stop having faith.
Live this life freely, live it openly, live it honestly and never close your mind or your heart. If you can't open yourself up to experience things and grow and think, go ahead and order your coffin - you're wasting your time and everyone else's. I'll try to save you from yourself, but that's really your job. ;-)
BTW - If I say, "Come on, baby, let's go" chances are you will not regret it...
Things I like:
I enjoy the company of friends, long rides, wandering, the sun, surfing, dancing, interesting conversation, music, intellectual conversations and being around people who can clown around one second and be involved in a real conversation the next. I love learning from others. I love being outdoors and working with my hands helping someone build or fix things. I love watching kids grow and seeing them find excitement in doing things that better them and the world around them. I like to listen and learn and think and read and write. I've done habijax several times and love tinkering with the boyfriend when he's working on stuff... don't wanna do it 24/7 but I'd love to do it more often.
No I don't have a garage/workshop yet, but I've always wanted one. I worry that my wanderlust will make it difficult to ever get anything done in there though. I do love it and I love doing things like that with my guy.
If the sun is shinin' and there's surf or an open road callin' - well, sometimes stuff just has to wait. It's not going anywhere... but now is moving pretty fast... grab it and hold on! Play is vital to living.
