Introduction:
I'm a true blue southern gal, ninth generation Charlestonian. So needless to say my blood bleeds rebel. What ya expect? Being as how I was born & raised on the east coast I love to cook & can spend all day in the kitchen whipping up a home cooked meal. That being said if it don't have fat in it, it don't taste good!
Dixie chick, so I'm gonna stand up for what I believe in. Treating others right, no game playing. I get to much joy outta other things than the never-ending. Which is a creature that is always there in some shape or form with an empty belly yet gorged on the dispirited & sick of soul.
Product of the 60's, so I'm all about peace & love yet realistic. I know that freedom isn't free regardless of what the right wing liberal media dishes up & delivers as news.
God Bless America & Our Troops. I'm proud & I'm loud!
My greatest wish come true in that I'm the proud mother of 3 well adjusted young men. I'm so thankful the genes, addictions, demons or what ever by passed them . How lucky am I? I've recently became a 1st time grandma so that should say it all. She's a beautiful 'lil monster & always has a smile on her face & laugh in her belly! My 'lil partner in time, the apple of my eye.
I'm fortunate in that my husband & I get along & that we still love each other after all these years. We saved each other from our selves & we work well together.

Activities:
I luv going for a putt with my ole man be it where ever the road may take us & I look forward to having my own bike by years end or the beginning of next. Then the fun really begins! I like doing crafts & right at the moment I'm on a box kick. Everyone needs one to put their troubles in.

Interests:
I'm into genealogy big time. Can spend hours at the library or the court houses. Also love tromping around ole cemeteries. Thankfully my husband humors me & will stop when we're out puttin' around!

Favorite Music:
Can ya say Rock & Roll? Been to some awesome concerts & hope to go to many more. Really get into alternative, like Tool, Disturbed, Seether & Drowning Pool to name a few. But I cut my teeth on the likes of Joplin, Pink Floyd & Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Favorite TV Shows:
Really not into TV too much. Leave the remote to my hubby as one of his favorite past times is channel surfing. Though I must say on Thursday night you will find my nose in the tube as I'm a super, big time Survivor fan! I also like CSI.

Favorite Movies:
Can't remember the last movie I saw.

Favorite Books:
I love to read. If I haven't got a book I go stir crazy. Have quite a few favorite authors. Love anything by Nora Roberts. Big fan of James Patterson & Patricia Cornwell. For Vampires & such you can't beat Laurell K. Hamilton (her monster's are so yummy!) & for a western fix I love Larry McMurtry. His Lonsome Dove series & Berrybenders Narratives are great reads all the time.
