I Love to Ride... There is nothing like it. Riding takes my mind off the office, the crazy job politics, and sheds any stress I may be experiencing on any particular day. Riding definitely has a way of releasing all thoughts in the mind.... very cool.
A bit about myself. My parents, my brother, and soon to be X ride. It took me awhile to get back on a bike. In fact years. My main reason is I lost my Best friend to a tragic bike/car accident. She left behind her husband and three children all 4 years and under. It was one of the saddest moments of my life. The first year was the hardest. Kim was in her early twenties when she died. Kim was the bright lightbulb in the room, bubbly, beautiful and full of life. To see her die so tragically as she did was a huge loss of life. I've never met anyone like her. She was the sister I never had and the sister I lost. To this day I've never gotten over loosing her.
Thanks to my Dad who talked me into picking up the bike. Its been great and I feel like I have my wings!! Its okay to ride as a passenger its absolutely indescribable as a rider. I don't believe I can go back. There literally is nothing quite like it. When someone sets rules. I am recalling what my Dad always said and that is to "ride your own ride".
I am an IT professional, have been in the field for 15 years. Prior to my career change I was a formal dining waitress and I loved it but advancement was pretty null. I have a son and daughter both are in their 20s.
Other interests are: photography gardening networking, social events, visiting with family/friends and riding my motorcycle which of course includes travel.
Activities: Riding when weather permits. Am an active member of two HOG chapters, and am a Lady of Harley. I love to socialize and meet new people.
Interests: Riding to as many events in my free time, mostly weekends or night rides during the week. Leave the Harley behind, I love to ride my Intruder!
