Introduction:
No, my screen name doesn't mean I'm a martial arts expert. It's the bike I ride. At least one of us isn't an alarming shade of green.

I ride a *LOT*. It puts my head in a space I like to be in.

I am not a traditional kind of gal. From Texas, spent decades in Quebec; I'm a Jew raised by Catholics in the middle of the Baptist belt. A collection of contradictions and a cultural hybrid.

Love making strong emotional connections with people. I have an eclectic circle of amazing friends.

I'm a writer, editor and online strategist with extensive experience marrying traditional media with with the Web. Known for creative problem-solving, combined with solid technical skills.

LOVE literature, poetry, media, science fiction and cinema; if you enjoy at least two of those we'll have lots to talk about.

I tend to argue with my deity. If you think that's arrogant, you probably won't like me.
Turn ons:
Riding. Lively debates; active & open minds. Flirtatiousness. Impulsiveness. Sense of humour. Passion. Loyalty. Affection. Convictions and a strong, ethical character. People who do what they say they're going to do. Acts of kindness.
Turn offs:
Racism, sexism, homophobia. Closed minds. Dogma, political or otherwise. Poor hygiene. Rudeness. Meaness. Pessimism. Habitual drunks. People who are undependable. Poor anger management. Speedos.
Ideal:
Someone who is curious, adventurous, well-read, comfortable in his skin. A good communicator who can hold his own in conversation. We don't have to agree but you will need to explain your positions so I can learn something.
Activities:
Snowboarding, x-country skiing, skating, jogging, dancing, singing, playing keyboards, drawing, painting, cooking, travelling, thinking, dreaming, daydreaming, watching, talking, debating, listening, motorcycle touring, track days.

About Me:
Some people say I'm funny. But they probably think I'm joking when I say my idea of housekeeping is buying a dishwasher and a Roomba.
