Introduction:
Several Motorcycles and more horses. I like to ride. I have been riding motorcycles for nearly 45 years. I've had more than a dozen bikes, raced flat track, TT Scrambles, and almost bought the farm one year in the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. That one really hurt. Also I have been riding, training, and breaking horses for more than 20 years. But I make time to take a bike out - 200 to 400 miles each week. And with gas prices what they are - I ride the Sofa Glide nearly every day.

This past Spring, I worked 4 of my horses, 3 or 4 times each week for an hour each, trying to get them back in shape from their winter vacation. I have one green QH mare named Venus, that is only 6 and coming along nicely. I broke her two summers ago, and it is now time for her to go to work. See the album with photos from a recent trip to the cattle ranch and Venus' final exam on the cattle drive. She passed with honors!

I put some photos into a another album. "You can lead a horse to water . . . But you can't make him SWIM!" Is that how that goes?

The black mustang in the photo is very insecure and was possibly abused before I got him, but I am slowly gaining his trust and confidence. He's bucked me off in the past, but there's no shame in meetin' the dirt, up close and personal, so long as you get back on. Which proves Ibuprophen is a wonderful thing.

The big bay, Sonny, is a 1600 lb Percheron-TB cross that I broke 7 years ago. He works cattle, and I can pack an entire elk on him.

Turn ons:
A good day in the saddle.
Ideal:
I like long legs, a nice engine in back, smooth, supple curves, and at least 16 hands.
Interests:
So, you think you know how to ride in a group?

Favorite Quotes:
Normal people are just those people that you don't know very well.

When I die, I hope it's in my sleep like my dad did, not like all those people on the bus he was driving.

About Me:
I am not into simply adding "friends" for the sake of numbers. Send me an email, have something in common, post a photo, tell me I've got my head up my ass, something! And sorry, I do not add anyone promoting a product or their services.
