Introduction:
I am the District 6 Coordinator for ABATE of Georgia. I am a bit of a safety fanatic who has earned the nickname "Safety Guru". I am NOT a helmet advocate. I believe in education and accident avoidance. I am in the application process to be a motorcycle instructor. I try as much as possible to educate the "cagers" to watch for motorcycles and to realize that we have the same rights to the road as they do. I also try to get bikers to get ongoing training to improve their riding skills and break bad habits. I get pissed when I see a biker using the roads as a race track or a place to practice stunts. That gives the government "nannies" more ammunition to limit our right to ride. |
Turn offs:
People who look to government to fix problems.
Motorcycle riders who will take a day off work to see the movie stars from "Wild Hogs" at the Georgia state capital but won't take the time to ride to the capital on a Sunday to stand for their freedom. |
