I was born in the south, but have spent most of my life in the northeast. Now that I have returned to the south, I am reconnecting with that southern lifestyle. Laid back and respectful of others, especially the ladies.
Born a sojourner, I have traveled a GREAT DEAL in my life and am looking forward to setting down some roots. This does not mean that I am done traveling, just that I want to establish a home to return to at the end of the trip.
I live 20 minutes from one of the premier motorcycle roads in the US, the Dragons Tail! I love being nestled in at the foot of the Great Smokey Mountains and the Appalachian Trail; yet, living on the TVA inland waterway system. It is the best of all worlds!
I also have a 19 foot open bow boat. It is a speed boat, but I have it rigged for fishing as well. I enjoy trolling around in the morning and evenings, having a coffee or a beer (in the evening lol) just taking in the beauty that surrounds me.
I am a poet, when the muses strike me, a lover of art, nature, and friendships.
I do not take the words friend and love lightly. They are to be earned from all sides. I am also fiercely loyal to those that I call friends, family and loved ones. I have been deeply wounded by two people in my past. It is a hard thing to rebuild a life that has been decimated, but then what does not kill us makes us stronger. Remember the past and celebrate it, learning from it to make the future truly remarkable!
The beginning is always scary. The end always sad, but the middle.That is where life truly takes place. Enjoy the trip!
