MY DREAMS IN THE WIND ! Late in the evening I sometimes feel the need To ride once again with the wind in my hair. Laying aside all of the day's cares and woes Feeling the rush of the day ease into night. For here I can think all of my thoughts Alone and unbothered I dream all my dreams. Hushed or shouted out loud my dreams stay Special and precious in their own way. I never have to share them with another soul And I'll never have to explain or justify them. (for they are from my heart) Dreams can be as big or as small as you choose They can change at will or remain the same. I stay out on my bike for as long as I need Knowing I will only be missed for awhile. (or maybe not at all if I do not return) But as I am flying down the open road I suddenly realize I could ride like this forever.. ...as the thought crosses my mind to just...GO !!
You are a part of the true biker community. You probably understand the meaning of brotherhood and look after those you ride with as family. Ride Hard - Die Free is not just a fancy patch you bought at a bike rally. You probably ride your bike to Bike Week no matter how far it is. Bikers like you are hard to come by. Keep the shiny side up.
Turn ons:
Real down to earth people, love to ride anytime but especialy when sun is either just coming up or going down, being around beaches or in the mountains --- just love the outdoors and everything that goes along with natural happenings. (wink)
Turn offs:
Those damn fakes -- need I say more ?
Ideal:
Haven't seen one yet that could walk beside me in my boots, nor ride along-side me on my scoot ! But, I do keep my pretty blues open at all times - lmao
Activities: UNDER THE LEATHER AND BEHIND THE SHADES
Under the leather and behind the shades stands a biker. We ride for the sense of freedom it gives us. The encouragement to take the road less traveled in the chance that we may encounter something new. We ride for the friendships we make along the way, as well as, the solitude of the open road. We don’t really care what you ride, just that you do.
Under the leather and behind the shades is a beating heart. A heart filled with compassion that on any given day will be riding for those in need. Ask one of us for help, but don’t be surprised when all of us show up.
Under the leather and behind the shades stands a proud American. We are as diverse a group of people that you could possibly assemble. We are men, women, tradesmen, doctors, lawyers, retirees, military, civilian and on and on and on. We stand silently with reverence and one voice that, in the silence, can be overwhelming.
Under the leather and behind the shades stands an invited guest to the funeral of a soldier that we most likely have never met. We hold the flag of our nation as a tribute to the greatest sacrifice anyone can make. Out of respect for the fallen, we travel to stand firm for a family, a community and a nation to lean on.
Under the leather and behind the shades stands a biker with sons, daughters, brothers and sisters of our own. Beneath the rough exterior we tremble and weep at your loss. You may not see that, for we are there to support you. That’s why we stand so silently under the leather and behind the shades.
