Hi, I love bikes, been on them all my life. I was born in France, raised in upstate NY. I won’t get into more detail about myself than that, if you want to know, just ask. Instead, I’ll write about things I’m thinking about, things others say, collections of others' thoughts that run along mine, and just stuff going on in my head ‘cuz its always buzzing about something. Take it for what you will, love it, hate it, but I hope you find some of this interesting, anyway. . .Is there anyone who ever rememberschanging their mind from the paint on a sign?is there anyone who really recallsever breaking rank at allfor something someone yelled real loud one time?oh, everyone believesin how they think it oughta beoh, everyone believesand they're not going easilybelief is a beautiful armorbut makes for the heaviest swordlike punching underwateryou never can hit who you're trying forsome lead the exhibitionand some have to know they triedit's the chemical weaponfor the war that's raging on insideoh, everyone believesfrom emptiness to everythingoh, everyone believesand no one's going quietlyis there anyone you can rememberever surrender with their life on the line?we're never gonna win the worldwe're never gonna stop the warwe're never gonna beat thisif belief is what we're fighting forwhat puts a hundred thousand children in the sand?belief can, belief canwhat puts a folded flag inside his mother's hand?belief can, belief can-John MayerIs man God's greatest blunder, or is God man's greatest blunder????THE MISTAKE EXCUSE“I’m only human, I made a mistake!"“your honor, I’ll admit, I made a mistake”“he’s only a teenager, he made a mistake”Um… uh huh.Is anybody else sick of people overusing this??? Look here, mistakes are innocent blunders, usually accidents, they don't require much thought, they just happen. Making a mistake is adding salt instead of sugar, getting off the freeway an exit too early, or forgetting a doctor's appointment. A mistake sounds innocent, its expected to be forgiven/forgotten. You are NOT allowed to use it for killing, abusing your kids, cheating on your taxes or husband/wife, financially (or otherwise) raping the congregation from the pulpit, being a mayor who does drugs and engages in prostitution, or bombing innocents under a lie! People are in the habit of using “mistake” as an excuse for atrocious behavior to divert responsibility for sick and reprehensible actions! Examples of a "mistake": (1) You add two and two and get the sum of five. (2) You take a right turn when you should have taken a left. (3) You think someone meant something they did not. (4) You think someone can do something when they are not able to. (5) You see someone in the supermarket and think he is someone you know when he isn't. (6) You accidentally delete a computer file you really need. GET IT??Peace…-carolineTHE BUZZWORD WORD “CHOICE”Here’s another tired word. I’m hearing this word tossed around on the news and stuff and in every advertisement screaming in my face for my attention. I HAVE CHOICES! We have too many choices of too much junk in my opinion anyway, I don’t need to hear this from every smiling face trying to shove something down my throat! You have your choice of 3,000 different styles of cell phones, birth control, diapers, cars, bandaids, Viagra, cereals, toothpaste, shampoos and millions of every conceivable type of unneeded and unnecessary junk choices our modern society can possibly think up. We want CHOICES! Ahh! Enough! We’re drowning in junk now on this planet (save that for another time), and we‘re being stupefied into buying this stuff by idiotic buzz words being parroted by morons with no creativity or original thought. I have CHOICE-FATIGUE!!Later,CarolineWings....If you could have wings, Sagittarius, would you want them? (yes) I mean, if you could use them to fly, would you want them? (yes) But they would be really big. And what if you couldn't ever take them off? And when you were walking around, people would stare at you, and they wouldn't necessarily understand that you could fly? Or, if people thought they meant something they didn't really mean? And if you had them forever, you would still want them? Yes, I would want them, I would take them so long as I could fly.... S.Stewart How will I paint this garden I've destroyed green? Can I get back to where I've come from? 'Cause there are people, who believe in life. Well, how do we get to where we come from? Peace and love ain't enough these days.
