Introduction:
Having just returned from Afghanistan (as a civilian... not military)... I am a hard working lady who enjoys life to the fullest! I am not a person who rates others by the way they look or what they have, for beauty comes from within and material things do not make one who they truly are!
I like to have fun whether I am playing or at work. I am easy going and love to do just about anything there is to do. I am one who enjoys the simple things in life, such as sunsets/sunrises, the sounds of a rain shower or thunderstorm, the laughter of children, and the simple acts of cuddling, holding hands, and the warmth of a hug. I am a gentle and peaceful person: quiet and shy normally, yet full of life and energy at the same time. I love thrills and surprises, and I love to laugh and to make others laugh! If I make a few TRUE great friends from here, then it is more than what I could ever have anticipated from cyber space. I am NOT looking to meet someone, to be rushed into a "marrige" right off the get go(been there, done that...lol)! About Me:
Geesh, I hate this part... how does one describe themselves, when there is so much of a person to know, of which words alone can not relay? Simply said, I am a single mom of one terrific teen, #1 in my life! I work in the construction field as a heavy equipment operator... so there is not much anyone can say that I haven't already heard before! LOL YES, I love to play with those Tonkas, just like you men, and have fun in the dirt too... it all washes off at the end of the day! Hehehe! I've travelled extensively in this world.... Europe, Far East, Middle East, and our own continent.... with so much more I look forward to see! I've had the best in life, as well as the worst. I've been called a lady, a she-devil, a true friend, a bitch, an angel, and am sure if I thought about it some more I could tell you a few more names... lol! I am who I am because of my past, which has made me the strong individual that I am! Words that others have described me as are... proud, determined, a survivor, a lover, loyal, an inspiration, compassionate, honest, funny (smart a$$, more like it... lol), inquisitive, naiive, faithful, spiritual, ... and a REALIST!
I enjoy the ride on a Harley, especially being picked up by friends.... seeing the eyes roll from neighbors and pissing them off when this lil' town is awoken by the roars of thunder is hillarious!! Just want to yell, "Wake up people.... time to live!" LOL There is no other feeling like the exhilaration of the wind in your face, the sense of freedom, and the laughter and good times shared with great friends!
I've made some good friends here in the short time on this site and hope we remain as such. Please remember we are on the internet and, as I said earlier, I am a REALIST! Good times here, hopefully will carry over to when we (everyone here) meet one of these days, in person. Keep it light and fun, and if we are so blessed to have our paths cross, then so be it... yeeehaaa!! I am hoping to find that "special someone" along the way for that "happily ever after"... but am NOT going to fall in love online.... LOL!! Damn iiiit!! Let's be friends and let the good times roll!!
