Hello, my name is Barb and Welcome to my page. I am here to meet new people, for friendships, or who knows, maybe something more. It seems my life has been at a standstill for a long time, and I am not getting any younger, so I need to make several changes in my life. One of those is moving from Minnesota to Arlington, Texas, to live with my sister,which I am doing at the end of Feb. I am looking forward to the "changes" and the "opening of new doors". ~~~Enjoy life-it is the only one you have, for YESTERDAY is gone, TOMORROW has not yet arrived and TODAY is what you make of it. The lessons you learn from TODAY, take with you, apply them to TOMORROW, and all the TOMORROWS TOMORROW. If it is not worthy of taking with,leave it behind, for it is just "extra weight" to carry with you~~~ ~~~As you travel through life,when you stop and look behind you, may the times that you've been happy far outnumber the times when fate has been unkind. And may much more happiness be awaiting you on the journey yet to be~~~

Being treated like a lady with alot of old fashioned values, being treated as an equal, enjoys talking and most of all can communicate with, but yet is still willing to voice their opinion and can agree to disagree.

Any abusers in anyway, liars, cannot have respect for me or anyone else.
Activities: I LOVE THE OUTDOORS, ANYTHING & EVERYTHING TO DO WITH IT. LONG WALKS,GARDENING,WAKING UP TO SMELL THE ROSES, SEEING THE SUN SHINE, TAKING IT ALL IN LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW,ENJOYING EACH & EVERYDAY LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW. I ENJOY VOLUNTEERING, AS IT GIVES ME SUCH PLEASURE TO KNOW THAT I AM MAKING A DIFFERENCE AND HELPING OTHERS, OR EVEN ONE PERSON.
Interests: INTERESTS HERE IS TO MEET FRIENDS, ENJOY WHAT LIFE HAS TO OFFER ME, AS MY LIFE HAS BEEN ON HOLD FOR TOO LONG. A COUPLE OF MY INTERESTS IS WOLVES, AS I HAVE A LARGE COLLECTION OF MANY THINGS OF WOLVES. ANOTHER INTEREST IS THE WARRIOR WOMEN, AS TO ME THEY STAND NOT ONLY FOR STRENGTH, BUT CARING, COMPASSION, ABILITY TO STAND UP FOR ONESELF, AND STILL GO ON, NO MATTER WHAT SHE IS FACED WITH.

About Me: Never being able to have kids of own, I have always looked to other things to busy myself with., or to enjoy. That is where the "wolves" & "warrior" women have come in,but, I enjoy being ME. I love to wear jeans, shorts, sandals, but..I also love to wear a dress, heels, and enjoy being a WOMAN. Also being treated like one. I enjoy almost any type of dancing or I am willing to try. I enjoy shooting pool, throwing darts, playing poker, love the water, camping, but also enjoy cooking, baking. I just plain love the OUTDOORS, with all it has to offer. I have a great dog, Scooter, who is my companion right now. He is a border collie, and was born blind. But he is alot more intelligent than some who can see.(sometimes too smart) I enjoy talking to someone who can hold a conversation back. I am not shy, so if I have a question I will ask. I also have a "GIFT" of gab. I probably will never have a bike of my own, but I enjoy riding ALOT.
