Introduction:
The kids are grown and gone, so now it's time for me.
2007 was a year of so many changes for me. I did several things I always wanted to do. I learned to ride in September...and enjoyed that so much a week later I bought my bike. I've even hit the pavement already when the head gaskets went out on the bike shortly after getting it. Yes, I know very unsual for head gaskets to go out, but leave it to me to get a new bike and have something like that happen! New rider...engine problems...OOPS! I've even got the 'kiss' marks on my helmet from the pavement.
This whole new adventure has been so much fun that I kept going back to the dealership soooo much and hanging out that they even gave me a part time job!! First time I've ever worked two jobs in my entire life!!! It's my 'fun' job!!!!
Also last fall, I'd always wanted a tattoo and ended up getting two. The first tattoo...red/white/blue heart and stars for my son who is currently serving in the USMC and two doves with a rose.
2008..a new year...a new beginning. Kind of scary, but how exciting!! I just got my last tattoo...a lower back tat...a butterfly to represent the changes I've made in my life.

Interests:
I love animals and spent the last few years doing dog and pony/donkey rescue. I trained my ponies for carriage driving and did some competitions and obedience trained my dogs.
I am very pro-military...always have been but even more so now that my son is starting his tour with the Marines. If you don't support our military, you might as well read someone else's profile!

The Notebook, The 300..gotta love that!!! Aliens. Just saw I Am Legend and liked that! It just kind of depends on what mood I'm in. I love a good suspense movie or shoot 'em up flick!!!!

Anything by Lee Child. Those are great books.

When I did animal rescue, this quote was so important to me when rehabbing abused animals: "May God grant you the foolishness to think you can make a difference in the world, so you may do the things which others tell you cannot be done."

About Me:
I work out regularly, but am not a fanatic about it. I don't need drama. Have had enough of that to last a long time! I love a good joke...but be prepared...I can dish them right back out!!!! Make me smile and I'll do my best to make you smile as well.
