You know it has been a long long time since I took off from my home
But it sure feels free to be out on my own
My soul is like the eagle just as restless in its prime
And my heart is like a lion just as sure and strong as time
Sometimes I dont know where I am going and only Lord knows where Ive been
And I sure have seen my share of trouble friend
