I found out that I LOVE riding motorcycles this last summer. Came as a shock to me, cause I worked in an ER here for a number of years and got to see the huge damage done by errors. Scared me stupid! And now, after watching a few friends die of cancers and other medical ailments, I realize . . .shit happens. Besides, you can get just as hurt and just as dead in a car! So, you just gotta live your life and enjoy it. Had the chance to go for a 9-day road trip through Montana, and was hooked! I just took a motorcycle safety class. Well, I didn't pass it. I haven't given up! I will be taking it again. This time I will be better prepared! Learned alot about motorcycles (they deserve a lot of RESPECT) and riding them. Also learned a few things about myself. I accomplished a lot of things that I never thought I could or would do. Know what my favorite part was? The curves! I was nailing the curves! So, now I can shift up and down (did a little speed shifting, sssh! don't tell) and come to fairly decent stop. Guess I'm still at the mercy of you biker dudes to offer me a ride! Not that I have anything against riding on the back, quite cozy, actually! Just want to be able to ride when I want to, not just when I can. I love my friends here on BON! Thank you for being so encouraging and supportive! I'll be out there on my own bike someday, hopefully soon.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

A man who love to tour! There is a lot of beautiful country out there just waiting to be explored! Kind and considerate, loves to laugh
Activities: Riding! I'm learning, taking the riding course etc. Would love to go flying, grew up with that and miss it.
Interests: Riding! I've been bitten by the bug! More riding! Can't wait for riding weather to return! I'm a prolific reader, always have a book that I'm in the process of reading. I'm a Believer, but not affiliated with any organized religion. Won't try to stuff my beliefs down your throat. Just trying to live out my faith as I feel I'm led to.
Favorite Music:
I like the old stuff, Janis, America, Greatful Dead, etc. Also listen to contemporary Christian music. Does anyone remember Dr Hook and the Medicine Show? ;)
Favorite TV Shows: Don't watch much TV
Favorite Movies: What We Lost in the Fire, Fried Green Tomatos, movies with Jodie Foster, just saw Eastern Promises which was very intersting. Yeah, I like Tom Selleck, he doesn't take himself so seriously. Mel Gibson. Movies that have a storyline and keep my interest.
Favorite Books: I read lots of stuff. It snows here, ya know. Favorite authors, Jane Kirkpatrick,Diana Gabaldon, Brock and Bodie Thoene.
Favorite Quotes: Ya never know. Accept the good. Now, who's problem is that? Yours or mine? Hmmm?
