Introduction:
I am a member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA) Chapter 4-2 in Missouri. I have been on bikes all of my life. I lived in Des Moines Iowa most of my life with 4 years in California. I still make trips to Des Moines every year to see my kids. I have three kids. All of them live out of state so this makes a few road trips every year. With all my kids living there own life, and after my father passed on, mom didn’t need my help with dad anymore. I have always wanted to live at Lake of the Ozarks so in 2003 I sold EVERYTHING and moved. This wasn't the only big change in my life. After I moved my mother was not happy that both of her kids were in Missouri and she was in Iowa. So in late 2005 I moved mom to the lake and into the top floor of my house. This was a very big change in my life. LOL. I even needed to add another room to the house for all her stuff. But she can take care of herself and can watch the house when I’m not here so it all worked out in time. I don't believe in putting anyone down or trying to change them. Everyone has the right to live their life their way. I am outside anytime I can be. I camp, fish, hunt, hike, boat, and ride. In the past I worked full time and had my on business so time on the bike was limited. Things have changed now and I have more time to do other things. I travel to Kansas City Missouri and Des Moines Iowa every year. I also have been known to just jump on the bike and take off. I am a disabled Marine vet (some broken bones) and I will make all the rides I can for our vets. I’m divorced after 17 years and raised the last one (my daughter) by myself with no help from the ex. I have ridden with all types of people. Some are patch members and some others ride metric bikes. I don’t care what you ride, who you ride for or with. When you ride with me we all ride with respect of every rider in the group. But I have told a newbie to shut the hell up and listen to the people that have more miles. Hell I still listen to any old road dog that wants to try to teach me something. LOL So let’s stop all the talking and just shut the hell up and ride! If you want to know some more just ask. |
