Introduction:
Hi everyone, I am Ree.. (and my beauitful Harley is Rita) welcome & thanks for stopping by.
I change this part of my page every once in a while as the mood strikes me, (and if I have time) so take a peek and see what I'm up to every so often if you wanna know.
If you get an invitation to be my friend it's because you are actuallly close enough to take a ride with us some day, or something about your page caught my eye.
THE LATEST...
Have been at my new job a couple weeks, I think I'll let them keep me for a while... lol.
I am actually doing very well there and carving out my place in the company quite nicely.
My boss is great and so is everyone else. (ask me how I feel about that again in 6 months... never know)
Plans....
Studying hard for my October CMQ/OE Exam, I hope I'll be ready! The date for that is fast approaching and I am studying my @ss off out here... all work & no play makes Ree a cranky one for real!!... luckily it has finally rained for a few days so I am not tempted to blow off the books in trade for another ride on the Harley. (I am sooo weak when it comes to that.. Mike says let's go for a ride and off we go despite the studying I should be doing!)(Bad Girl!)
Speaking of studying and exam taking... the first 45 minutes of this one is going to be constructed response, (essay) which was not on either of the other two certification exams I have taken... that should be fun! See... all kinds of things to look foreward to!!
We've begun making plans for the "3rd Annual End of Summer Ride" to Westfield New York - Lake Erie Wine Country, but now Mike may not get the time off because his company is cutting back on their vacations, etc.... because of the economy they're saying... they laid off 7 of their people but luckily he has been there for a pretty long time & is excellent at his job.
Other Stuff...
I put my house in Kent on the market for sale... I really don't want to be a landlord at all... and there's always the chance the house would be trashed by renters.
I hope it sells soon beause I have been eyeballing the 2009 Softail Heritage Classics and might not be able to restrain myself from trading in the Sporty and buying one too much longer!!!
Well, I guess that's about all for my mindless babbling for now, more again soon!

Tall men - this is a desired plus! I like dark hair but it is also a plus, not a must.

Activities:
Riding... riding... and did I mention I like to ride??
I like most outdoor activities, but you can keep the organised sports... a spontaneious game of volleyball or basketball is nice on occasion, but I don't like that kind of thing on a regular basis.

Interests:
I have many interests and am very sure there are more I have not discovered yet. That's what's so great about meeting different people they always seem to expose you to new things.

Favorite Music:
Mostly I like to listen to Classic Rock, Metal or Oldies. I stay away from the Rap, the Hip-Hop, and anything else along those lines. I like some country music, but the cry in your beer stuff just doesn't do it for me!

Favorite TV Shows:
I could toss my TV out the window and not miss it until I rented a movie.

Favorite Movies:
I like the scary movies the best! When I say scary I mean scary, not gross... I like a good comedy, but there are so many stupid movies that pass for comedy any more I am afraid to rent any of them.

Favorite Books:
I read so much I would not know where to start. Have a look in my library upstairs if you meet me and you will know what I like.

About Me:
I have made some big mistakes and some major bad decisions in this lifetime but I have not given up, and I don't beat myself up for it.
(everything seemed like a good idea at the time or I wouldn't have done it, right?)
There's a reason the windshield is bigger than the rear view mirror..... think about it....

2007 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Low
My bike is named Rita after my deceased daughter.
She is Suede Blue and Pearl Black w/ over 14,000 miles on her now.
I have put on a solo seat, luggage rack, windshield and saddlebags so far... I just want to RIDE it, not DECORATE it, you know!!! |
