Introduction:
I am just here to make friends and I have made some great ones thus far. I live to ride. Nothing I enjoy more. I ride a Soft Tail Deluxe these days. Love it! I used to ride all year long but somewhere along the line my age caught up with me and I don't seem to be tolerating the cold well this year. I enjoy traveling, mostly to historic sites and museums. I very much want to travel a lot more of the U.S. before I die. I love this country and everything about it. I have tremendous respect for those who volunteer their time to make it better. Anyone can write a check. Those who DO are most admirable. I am an avid volunteer. I have the utmost respect for the U.S. military but none for our current political administration. I enjoy all aspects of U.S. history, I am a Civil War buff. My BA is in history. Gettysburg Pennsylvania is as close as I can get to the Civil War so I go there a lot. Hoping to eventually get my PhD. Doctor Rocko...yeah, I like that. lol I spend my share of time reading and researching. Into museums, art, music,the theater and even an occasional opera and on the top of my list...the company of kind...intelligent, interesting people.
I choose to do right by others if they deserve respect but I am here to please no one. My children, my family, my country and my true friends mean everything to me.
I am accurate with a gun, bow and even a hatchet...DON'T PISS ME OFF!

Turn ons:
Well that depends on the person. I find different things appealing about different people but I do admire intelligence, Tattoos, positive attitudes, a genuine smile, cowboy hats, leather, chains (haha)...oooh the list goes on... |

Activities:
Ride...shoot (sometimes at targets sometimes at those stupid enough to cross me), I volunteer for a multitude of causes from schools, animals and historic sites to military causes. Believe it or not, seasonally I am a school marm at an historic one room school house. Hoop skirt and all. I wear a lot of hats. Never judge a book by it's cover.

Mostly country, fifties, classic rock but I will listen to jazz, big band, etc. depends on my mood

Gettysburg, Blazing Saddles, National Lampoons Vacation and Xmas Vacation, Monty Pythons Holy Grail

Non-fiction-mostly Civil War, bios, medicine,many aspects of US history from 1800's through the 1960's-The House of Mirth is a fav fiction, all of Edward Ball's work, Thoreau, T. Williams,Killer Angels, the list goes on. . .
