About Me:
I enjoy life, even more so since separated after a 20+ year controlling and rough marriage. I guess you learn by your mistakes in sticking it out that long . . . but I must say, I have never been happier since the break! I try to live life to its fullest b'cause you never know what tomorrow may bring! I have a pleasing, sweet personality and am very laid back!
I like to write poetry occasionally when the mood strikes . ... so here goes:
THIS POEM IS DEDICATED TO PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE FRIENDS I'LL HAVE MADE ALONG THE WAY:
If you were to see a flirt
from someone within the screen
Should you put a barrier up
or check out what it might mean.
You look into their profile
and see what it beholds
Then comes a message sent by them
A friendship to unfold.
You talk a bit, exchanging flirts
The time has come to meet
A nervous flutter starts the day
Feels like your heart may skip a beat.
Wow you think as you walk in
And glance upon the guy
that sent the message on the screen
You're hoping you're not shy.
You chat a bit, have coffee too
You look into his eyes
and find the most sincerest guy
with such a gorgeous smile.
The time went rather well you think
You kiss and say 'til later
Good bye is not the word to use
It couldn't be any greater.
The search into the computer screen
Was the friendship she hoped for
The longing to enjoy a friend
And one she could adore.
