Introduction:
"Old school" woman. "Old school" ways are my "comfort zone." Also a former Marine (peacetime Vet). Very proud of being both of those things. After doing the marriage thing, then the divorce thing, then the dating thing, then after taking a sabbitical from dating, I'm dipping my feet back into the dating pool again to see what nibbles I get. Took any unnecessary baggage I've collected over the years and got rid of most of it - only saved what taught me something. Leave the past in the past and never make someone new "pay" for what someone old put on me. Happy, easy going, positive, independent, "colorful" sense of humor, a bit yakky at times but know when to be quiet, too. Have a bit of a potty mouth but it's not nearly as bad as it was back in the day. Like to drink (wine, whiskey, flavored rums) but don't get outta control; only smoke when I drink and have days when I don't do either. Old enough to know what I should and shouldn't do but young enough to be open to learning new things. Know pretty much how to act in public. Think I'm a good woman who is loyal, faithful, dependable, would never do anything to embarrass my partner (or myself) wherever we are, and who will always have my partner's back and I'm not out to change anyone - just like I don't want anyone to try to change me. Just waiting around to see what Fate, Karma, Destiny and the powers-that-be have in store for me.

Positive people, "old school" folks, sense of humor (the more demented, the better), confidence, tattoos, piercings, intellect |

Negative people, bullshitters, liars, thieves, game players (especially ones around my age or older), users, slobs, body odor, bad hygiene, sloppy drunks, high maintenance/stuck-up people, people who say one thing but mean another |

Interests:
Riding, shooting pool, banging around flea markets, going to bike events, listening to music, reading, watching t.v./movies, cooking, relaxing with family and friends, anything to do with motorcycles. Not much for politics (don't trust those people) or religion (too many of those people are hypocrits who talk outta both sides of their mouths).

Favorite Music:
Like most kinds of music (favs are metal, goth, alternative) except old, twangy country music............and opera (could never figure out what the hell they're saying). Depends on my mood, what's going on at the time and who I might be hanging out with

Documentaries, History Channel, TLC, Discovery Channel, Sci-Fi Channel, News, A&E Channel, Comedy Channel, FX (action) Channel, Animal Planet shows

Favorite Movies:
Horror, Sci-Fi, Thrillers, Suspense, Drama, Action, Comedy (just about in that order, too)

Favorite Books:
Same tastes as in the MOVIES section but also like books dealing with philosopy, self-improvement, wisdom, etc.; motorcycle mags (more the mechanic/accessory/fix-it kind and not the ones with mostly "fluff" and "stories" in them)

(1) Live to learn what to let go of and what to keep.

About Me:
I'm tall (5'10") and at age 52, I'm not a hard body or model-thin, but I definitely won't flatten your back tire, either. Pretty comfy in my own skin. Somewhat intelligent, articulate, honest, laid back, love to laugh, extremely loyal and devoted once committed (to a person, not an institute - lol), affectionate, passionate, opinionated (but not in an obnoxious way), nurturing, good listener, trustworthy, open minded, spontaneous. Have some ink and a few body piercings - looking to get more of both. Like it says in my INTRO, I know, pretty much, how to act in public - usually...I don't lick windows (too often), I don't have to take a special bus, and I don't pee my pants (unless I'm laughing so hard, I can't help it). There's so much more to most of us than what we can fit into one of these things. So, write and ask if you'd like.
