All time favorite "Gone With The Wind", All Elvis Movies, "Fried Green Tomatoes", "Beaches", "A Walk in the Clouds", "Romancing the Stone", "Jewel of the Nile", "Serendipity"; sucker for a happy ending so this includes most chick-flixs and love adventure and comedy, ie "Deuce Bigalow", "The Mummy" and all Blue Collar Comedy tours! Oops almost forgot, gotta love Harry Potter movies too.

Mitford Series by Jan Karon; Can't Wait to Get to Heaven (awesome book),by Fannie Flagg; any by Mary Kay Andrews and John Jakes; books ref history especially the Civil War era.
