Introduction:
Hi, and welcome to my profile! I'm a musician/biker/outdoors-type from Concord, California.
First and foremost...I LOVE TO RIDE!! I know I'm preaching to the choir on this website when i say this, but to those who have never ridden a bike...mere words alone cannot ever hope to do justice to the sense of freedom which washes over your soul, body, mind & spirit when you power your bike down the open road. It's like a drug I can't ever get enough of, and forget the rehab, Doc..I'm hooked forever...it's one of the best things I ever did.
If you live in the San Francisco/Oakland bay area I'm up for rides & meetin ppl for fun, hangin out, socializing, etc.
I've been a professional saxophonist in the bay area for 30 years (YIKES! Has it been that long already???). I really have a blast playing sax & sitting in with bands, but I also like sittin around a nice campfire & just strummin my guitar.
I have a 'green' side, which is a big part of who I am. I am very interested in protecting the environment, electric cars, renewable energy, E85, recycling, etc. I believe we are responsible for doing what we can to heal mother earth & to have more than just a passing interest in the planet and to do what we can for the future generations who will inherit the earth from us (and I truly hope they will take better care of it than we have).
Well, in order to try to keep with these rapidly changing times, and to have a place to air my opinion, I've decided to start a BLOG. Click below!

Just for the fun of it, two years ago I created a bot called TreeHugger2061. He's sort of an environmental-tofu-eating-George-Bush-hating-hippie-chick-loving-goofball - see for yourself!

Anywho, all the songs in my mp3 playlist below are songs I played saxophone or clarinet on from over the years with different artists (and I'll be adding more from time to time). The styles of the songs are very different from one another - jazzy, funky, bluesy, soft ballads, etc. I hope yah like them! Likewise, if you're a musician & have songs you play on in your profile let me know - I'd like to hear them!

Turn ons:
HONEST AND STRAIGHT FORWARD PEOPLE -- sounds simple but for me it's something that's been VERY hard to find. I like bein around happy people who are high on life who are secure with themselves & like to experience new things & don't need drugs

Turn offs:
RACISTS!!! smoking, negative insecure downer types who put themselves down all the time & expect others to build them up, and of course, DISHONEST PEOPLE -- I'm not into bullshitters or liars at all. IF YOU ARE A RACIST SKIP PAST THIS PROFILE! |

Interests:
OUTDOORS!! Camping, riding, hiking, fishing, or just checkin out & being a part of nature. Some of my favorite places are Mendocino, Big Sur, Lassen, Death Valley, Yosemite, Tahoe...and any place out in the wilderness I've never been to...any suggestions??
