Introduction:
Please don't send me a friend request. I am not out here looking for a date, a soulmate, or anything else for that matter. I am not interested in finding the "man of my dreams" and relocating or anything even remotely close to that. I only signed up so I can get invitations to the gatherings in my area with people I know and can hang out with. Thank you though. If you want to chat I am totally cool with that.
I have done some rebuilding, restructuring, realigning in recent years. And I have come out someone who is standing up tall and happy and full. I have put the pieces to my personal happiness puzzle in place. I am a lucky girl who has been very fortunate in so many aspects of my life. All I ever did in the past was work. That was my priority and I learned alot from that two decade adventure. I never spent much time at home. Now I revel in being at home a bit more often, it keeps me grounded. It's a good springboard, having a solid home. I need my home to be peaceful, warm and inviting. I want to give people an experience when they come in. Living on the lake certainly helps with that. Your home sould be a place that reflects your taste, feeds all of your senses, and soothes your soul. I have found the better you care for yourself, the better you're able to enjoy your life. A life of moderation is a good thing, but there also has to be room for some crazy spontaneous fun. Good friends have always been a major priority in my life. And you always have to be one yourself first. You will find being a great friend attracts the best people. If you always offer a smile during hard times you will, in fact, reap many rewards. I've learned that you can get through things that hurt. My pain was real...but people are unbelievable. We have such resilience. I feel very fortunate to have lived the life I have lived...On to the next chapter! Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile.
A MASTER IN THE ART OF LIVING DRAWS NO SHARP DISTINCTION BETWEEN THEIR WORK AND THEIR PLAY, THEIR LABOR AND THEIR LEISURE, THEIR MIND AND THEIR BODY, THEIR LOVE AND THEIR RELIGION...THEY HARDLY KNOW WHICH IS WHICH...THEY SIMPLY PURSUE THEIR VISION OF EXCELLENCE AT WHATEVER THEY DO, LEAVING OTHERS TO DECIDE WHETHER HE IS WORKING OR PLAYING...TO HIM HE IS ALWAYS DOING BOTH...

Favorite Music:
I have very diverse taste in music. I pretty much love it all. Music is in my soul.
|
Favorite TV Shows:
Any half hour comedy that makes me laugh out loud.
|
Favorite Movies:
'Into the Wild'. There have been many drastically different opinions on this movie. But I viewed it as a very deep felt moving experience. I also appreciate 'The Notebook'. I am not a sap when it comes to movies, trust me on this. But I like a movie you can believe. The more real the story (documentaries) the more I love the movie. Life itself moves me, I don't need to escape to a fictionalized world. Not knocking those who do though. We all have our thing. I respect that greatly.

Favorite Books:
Everyone has to read "I hope they serve beer in hell" by Tucker Max. I laughed so hard at this book and refer back to it alot when I need a lift.

Favorite Quotes:
"My mortgage is low and the humor is high". The perfect quote for the times.

About Me:
I love people in general. They feed the soul. You can learn something from everyone. They all have something to bring to the table. Please understand when I ask that you do not send me a friend request. I am not trying to be difficult, just think it is a little weird advertising someone as your "friend" that you know absolutely nothing about. And please, don't send me a message calling me names because you think it is wrong of me to feel this way. I don't send nasty messages to others who I don't agree with. Thanks for understanding!
