Introduction:
Hello, My name is Ken and I live in Chandler,AZ ( Phoenix area ) with my wife Lynn and our dog Apollo.

As you can see, I'm not here to stroke my ego by adding 3000 names to my friends list. I only keep the friends that corresponds with me from time to time.

I've lived in "the valley of the sun" since 2005, when I relocated from central NC, where I had lived for 35 years after leaving eastern KY when I was 12 years old.

I'm the kind of guy that says whats on my mind and if you don't want an honest answer, don't bother to ask. I live my life on MY terms and I don't look for everyone elses "approval"....your acceptance is not required.





Turn ons:
People that stand up and take responsibility for their actions, even when they are wrong.
Turn offs:
Politically correct assholes that are afraid to say whats on their mind, for fear of offending someone.......... Loud mouth know it alls, that don't know sh*t........... People that has no respect for themselves, much less other people.
Ideal:
A person I can stand beside, talk to, listen to, depend on...she also MUST have more than a dozen "functioning brain cells" ( in other words, the partner I have )
Activities:
Does sitting on your ass twisting the throttle constitute "activity" ???

I hit the gym a couple of times a week...it's NOT my life though.
Interests:
I like reading a good book, grilling just about anything outside. ( I also know my way around the kitchen pretty well.....honest ) Nothing fancy, just basic good food.

Me and the better half are trying to get into photography as sort of a hobby.
Favorite Music:
I like just about all country, but really tend to get into the songs that move me on a personal level. Depending on the mood I also like older ( Classic ) Rock, Jazz, Blues...some Pop.

A wide variety, from Titanic to Terminator, Gettysburg to Star Wars, For Love of the Game to Die Hard....

Right now I'm switching between J.D. Rodd ( Nora Roberts ), Tess Gerritsen and James Patterson.
I liked Stephen Kings "early" books, I thought the "Gunslinger" series was awesome...but the last 2 or 3 of his I've tried has really SUCKED OUT LOUD.

Also like...Dean Koontz, Sue Grafton and some Tom Clancy.

About Me:
I was born in eastern Kentucky a half century ago, when I was 12 we would relocate to central North Carolina and this is where I would spend the next 35 years.

I have three children and nine grandchildren, all of which is still in NC...I travel back as often as I can.

I was married for 22 years, before losing my wife to complications following a liver transplant...she would take a big part of me with her.

My second marriage is soon to be in its sixth year. My second wife is what would bring me to the "great southwest".

I believe in helping anyone out that is down on their luck, however for those that choose being "down on their luck" as a career option I don't mind expressing my opinion to those individuals either.
