My name is Rob. I live in Devon, Great Britain. I ride a Triumph Bonneville 790 and ride with the Dobermans MCC Devon (est 1980)and i belong to the North Devon British Motorcycle Owners Club. The Dobes meet up for regular rideouts in the Devon/Somerset area and more members or riders are very welcome. The Dobes are looking to arrange a ride down to the Plymouth Mega Ride in the summer so get in touch if you would like to join us. I'm ex Royal Navy so i've got total respect to all the men and women in the armed forces in the U.K and the U.S.A. We may not always agree on the cause but we must support our guys. The only constant in my life is my love of motorcycles and sometimes it's a great excuse to get out of the house and ride. I love old 50s rock and roll music and anything from the 70s. I play tenor sax in a 50s rock and roll band and i love to go out for a ride or the odd beer with my friends. The bike? Well, it has to be British for me. You can't beat the roar of a Triumph engine through peashooter pipes down winding english country lanes. I respect The American riders for buying American bikes and the British riders for staying true to Triumph. I just don't get why some people like being surrounded by carbon or plastic on a screaming Jap bike and looking like a power ranger??? Oh well, each to his own i guess. Looking to meet anyone who has a passion for bikes, American or British.
