Introduction:
Pensacola, FL is home now since 2000. I've been riding since 1966 and never get tired of road trips, only bad drivers. I got the name Wrongway 30+ years ago because my friends got tired of turning around and backtracking to find the road I missed. And yes, I know Wrongway is supposed to be 2 words, that's the irony. I'm retired and love long distance riding. I'm an Iron Butt rider and have a documented run of 1,550 miles in 23 hrs & 10 min. I've made many 1,000 mile runs within 24 hours. Life member ABATE of FL, Iron Butt Assoc., H.O.G. and Patriot Guard Riders.
I'm also an amateur photographer always looking for that perfect shot on the road or where ever I can find it. I have more than 15,000 biker related photos from events from all over the country.

1995 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classice Electra Glide 30th Anniversary
This is my main ride. I bought it in 2000 from a collector with 2,000 miles on it. In March of 2008 I turned the odometer over to all zeros again (100,000). While I have owned this bike, I've also had a Sporty, a softtail and 2 Victorys to put miles on. So I guess you could say I like to ride. |

2001 Harley-Davidson Harley
2001 Santee Frame, 80 CID Evo bored and stroked to 96 CID, 105 hp, Baker 6 speed. And I can still sqeeze out 42 mpg if I ride her easy, but why have all that power and ride it like a moped? It's a work in progress and no telling what will get changed next. |
