Introduction:
I love to ride as much as the weather allows up here. Rain won't scare me off though, if I gotta get somewhere. Would live in Arizona, New Mexico or southern Colorado if I could. Who knows, maybe someday I'll enjoy 300 days of sunhine a year. Meanwhile, I'll just cruise around here up north in the Laurentians on sunny or cloudy weekends. Being a musician ( I play Electric Bass, Saxophone and Drums ) and a public school music teacher, I can appreciate all music styles running the gamut from Classic Rock and some pretty heavy stuff like Rage Against the Machine all the way back to Classical and Baroque. I really like a lot of Jazz from the 50's and 60's and I'm really starting to like Country music a lot as well. It's so honest you know... tells no lies. In my late teens I used to ride a chopped 1950 Triumph 650 Thunderbird like the one Marlon Brando rode in "The Wild One". You know, that 1954 first in a series of Hollywood biker flicks that gave us the bad rap that still persists in some people's minds to this day. I was out of the riding loop for about 20 years while on the road playing in rock bands and while going back to school for my teaching degree. I got my wheels back about 10 years ago after I started teaching. After a few years on an early model GoldWing then 6 years on a Roadstar, I'm now keeping the rubber side down on a sinister blacked-out Harley ElectraGlide Custom. Travelled to the West Coast and Southwest US, then Sturgis and Florida Keys back in 03-04. Loved it soooo much!! I really gotta' get back to those Colorado horses and the gorgeous mountains or some bareback riding in Monument Valley at sunset. For sure, sometime sooner than later. Maybe a fine sweet & lovely lady could come along?
Turn ons:
Very feminine women even if somewhat tomboyish, with self- confidence and comfortable with their looks and body whatever condition that carcass is in. Vulnerability is honest. Insecurity is just plain scary!
Turn offs:
Loudmouthed people who try to convince you to no end that their way is the only way to the highway. I know a few backroads that are just gorgeous, thank you very much!
Ideal:
Late 30 to mid 40's kids or not, it's all good. Open-minded, comfortable in her own skin. We've all got baggage. So what, it's how we carry that pain body and that we don't dump it on others that matters. Live and let Live always with respect and kindness.
Activities:
Chillin' with good people. Riding of course. Wrenching on the bike. Working out at the gym a bit. Riding, chillin' out or dinner with someone special (these are my favorites). Reading, downhill and x-country skiing. Travel.
Interests:
Kids and their well-being. Passing the love of music on to them. Getting energy and honesty from them. Kindergarten and lower grade kids tell no lies. They must listen to Country music.
Favorite Music:
Check out my Intro.
Favorite TV Shows:
Don't really care much for it.
Favorite Movies:
Any genre really. Must have a good plot though. I mean come on, what's the point otherwise.
Favorite Books:
Jazz bios, Current events, Psychology, Spirituality, Motorcyling in general, Technical on motor performance theory and maintenance, Travel adventure books.
Favorite Quotes:
"It's the ride not the destination". "If I have to explain, you would'nt understand".
About Me:
I love the simple life. Try not to sweat the small stuff too much.
