According to state police, Terri Walker was a passenger in a motor vehicle driven by Andre Longtin, 46, of Manchester.
Trooper Christopher Rosata of Troop A in Epping, said the accident occurred when a 1996 Ford Ranger pickup truck, driven by Robert Michaud, 55, of Hampton, struck a deer on Route 101 at about 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28.
According to police, a second vehicle, driven by Longtin, braked to avoid Michaud’s vehicle. Longtin lost control of his vehicle, striking the guardrail in the eastbound breakdown lane. Longtin’s vehicle rolled over on its side, coming to rest in the breakdown lane.
Walker’s right arm was partially severed in the crash, police said. Walker was transported to Elliott Hospital in Manchester, with the assistance of Advanced Life Support personnel from Exeter Hospital.
Candia and Raymond police, as well as emergency personnel from the Candia and Raymond Fire Departments, assisted state police at the scene.
No arrests were anticipated as a result of the accident.
