Introduction: HAPPY THANKSGIVING... EVER WONDER WHERE PUMPKIN PIES COME FROM???
Linda has no hips and cannot ride a bike of her own. I still made time for her.... That's what being a biker is about. Yeah for those great bikers out there that have been asking about Linda she is doing well, I never met her before that day I took her out on my bike for a ride last fall. Linda was a biker over her years as well as being a woman's patch member. Linda has no hips, and can never ride a motorcycle again. My friend ~Bad Ass Kitty~ asked me if I would do her a favor and take Linda for a short ride as a surprise because that was the one thing in the entire world she wanted to do and thought she could never ride again. I am so glad I was able to and willing to help another human being out. When we finished our ride that day Linda had tears of joy running down her face, she knows she can never ride a bike of her own and thought she couldn't even be a "Bitch on the back" again. Linda was awesome, and I am truely blessed to have met her that day. Linda told me after our putt that as we were riding along Lynn Beach she closed her eyes and enjoyed some of the ride through her sences, she listened to the sounds of the road and everything about it, she smelled the wonderful ocean and flower beds as we passed by them, the feel of the wind and sun on her face while being on a bike were all things she thought she would never experience again, she was humbled by our short time together and the short two mile putt we shared that day. Just being able to give that little hand guesture to a oncoming biker of hello, was something that she had lost and it gave her that good pins and needles feeling that warmed her whole body... Linda, Kitty and I all had lunch together that day and unfortunately Linda was unable to complete our ride back home on the bike. Kitty took her home from there in her car and although she will now never ride again I respect the hell out of that woman, I had a great day...
A Guy's Fairy Tale... Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?' The girl said, 'NO!' The guy lived happily ever after... He rode motorcycles and went fishing and hunting he played golf a lot and drank beer and whiskey and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
The end
I'm looking for someone to enjoy the rest of our lives together, taking walks on the beach or a ride to nowhere enjoying ourselves when we get there as much as the ride it took to get there. Someone to go out to dinner or stay home and enjoy a home cooked meal, or even just relax on a couch together watching TV I'm looking for someone I can feel comfortable with and them comfortable with me. Someone who I'm with can talk to each other about anything and everything. I stress honesty and caring of other peoples feelings someone that has respect for herself and the person she is with as well as others around. I'm not into games lets face it life is just to short to waste time with games. I am looking for someone who can allow the time to allow a relationship to develop, after all this isn't a race to the finish. Let's enjoy our time learning about each other...
Turn ons:
Anyone who has their feet on the ground not planted but stable. People respectful of others, and anyone who takes an interest in helping those who are not able to help themselves.
Turn offs:
Hypocrites, egoists, butinskys, fakers, OVER crowders, one betterers, space invaders, hidden agendas, Stalker type women who don't get the polite no for an answer, and most importantly child abusers...
Ideal:
My partner is someone I am looking for to have intellegent conversations with, they don't have to be about rocket science just need to know roughly what day it is, at least the month, and either AM or PM, it doesn't sound like much but you'd be surprised.
Activities: SLOB (Salem Lodge On Bikes)~ Weekly Sunday Motorcycle Runs (open door policy) from May till November KSU at 10:00am. These rides have different weekly destinations ranging usually from 80 to 160 miles and are anywhere from 5-8 hours with adequate breaks and libation stops along the way.
Interests: This is Biker Or Not so I feel it suiting to list riding first. Somewhere between 30 and 50 mph along a scenic country setting, a couple of beers in Mayberry and finding a different route back... I am a Red Sox fan, a Patriot's fan, I lost the drive for Golf but still get out once in a while. Billiards, now I like this game and I'm trying to better myself at it. I am a retired Dart player, but when I pick em up if I were to drop a T80, RO9 or a 6BC I would not be surprised. I enjoy donating my time for elderly or special needs kitchens (functions).
Favorite Music:
As I am now not so new to this site and computers in general anymore I am playing with the music a bit. I generally listen to Country and Soft Rock, I have also recently been taught how to copy and paste the information onto my profile for this site. I will probably be changing up my music players from time to time for different reasons...
Favorite TV Shows: Doppler, CSI, NCIS, Monk, Food Network, Sports Center, you'll catch me watching the Stooges from time to time...
Favorite Movies: Not big on movies, I do enjoy watching a few that include Nicholas Cage, Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Robin Williams (in serious roles), anything by Jimmy Stewart and a few more that are not coming to mind right now....
Favorite Books: What are those???
Favorite Quotes: They say a picture is worth a thousand words, I say the true Hollywood story on how that picture came to be could be worth MILLIONS!!! Here come the flying monkeys... Ya know they say fish is brain food...You should fish for a whale...(Moe Howard) Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle... (Author Unknown)
About Me: Life is to short to read the small print, if you have the time to try and slip something by me, I simply do not have the time for you...
You know about 15% of the people you meet in life honestly have good genuine intentions without hidden agendas. The rest are thinking about themselves first, not that they don't care about others but if push comes to shove expect a hand or two in the back from some of your close friends along the way... Which Island of the two that have been spoken of are you on, are you a 15 percent friend or a 85 percent one?
I'm feeling the need to tell you a little more about me and why I am on this site. I ride a 98 Heritage Softail, I am currently single, I am 6'4, never married but engaged once and have no children. As my profile states I am looking for friends and riding partners. Now that for me means I am looking for a friend and or riding partner first, someone I can talk to and feel comfortable around before anything after develops. I also believe that person should be my best friend and confidant. Most importantly I believe in give and take in a relationship, I don't believe in someone changing or asking someone to change in order to make a relationship work. I am not on Biker or Not to date everyone on my page, I'm just a sucker for a pretty face...
Please don't waste my time, I'm not trying to waste yours. I have enough pictures of me and of what I'm about on here as not to mislead anyone. I'm not posting a photo from 1992, or individual body parts or even partial head shots on here, I'm also not posting a dog or a cat, a motorcycle or a helmet, a cartoon character or a ficticious picture. I don't mind chatting or making small talk with anyone who wishes to stop by and say hello, please don't assume I want to date you because we chatted a few times while I'm staring at a motorcycle, a leg, a obscured head shot, a nice set of ta~ta's (geez they're all nice), a cartoon character, a tattoo, or even a rock. I believe in chemistry in a relationship, part of that is physical attraction. I'm not trying to tell anyone how to maintain their profile, I'm just letting you know something that is important to me. If the conversation is flowing it would be awkward if we ever met up and I can't recognize you from a bar stool in a fairly uncrowded room??? Agree....?
