Lets101 - Free Online Dating

I'm a former over-the-road truck driver and carny. Even though I prefer jobs where travel is involved (don't really care for grass growing under my ass!), I'm currently more of a homebody, whether I like it or NOT!

I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal, very rarely seen in dresses.

I prefer 80's rock, and my favorite radio station is 96.1 KLPX Tucson's Real Classic Rock. My other favorite radio stations are 99.1 The Planet out of Safford (also a Classic Rock station), and I also love listenin' to Mega 106.3 (Tucson's Old School and R & B station). I do like other types of music once in awhile (most except classical).

I love to go to biker campouts (when the weather is cool enough!) and also enjoy camping in Oak Creek Canyon. I love nature and animals. I do NOT get along well with too HOT or too COLD of weather, so spend a lot of time indoors due to the weather.

I enjoy hangin' out and shooting pool, throwing darts, and am occasionally seen with a karaoke mic in my hand as well. I love going to concerts or to the bar to hear a good live band and dancing the night away too (Easter Jam and Mountain Madness too!!!).

I'm a SMOKER and can not quit (have tried several times). I also LOVE CATS and will ALWAYS have one or more in my home.

I'm also honest and expect the same, no games. If ya wanna play games, go buy yourself a damn Nintendo!!!

I'm now looking for another bike, as mine was broke down beyond reasonable repair costs. I was goin' to 'part out' the 1982 Kawasaki 550 LTD to pay for another one, but ended up with a much better deal for now tradin' 'er ta my landlord.

On April 17, 2008, I gave 'er ta the landlord for what I owed him, which is much more than value of bike! :-) He wanted 'er since he had one of 'em brand new, back in the day. He is plannin' on fixin' 'er up, so she may at least enjoy more life on the highway herself this way as well!!! :-)

So, now I'm lookin' for a Harley Davidson Sportster, Honda Shadow, or a Yamaha Virago (friends suggested these to me) ta put underneath me and get on down the road!!! :-)

Favorite TV Shows:
Most everything on Lifetime and Nick@Night
24
Wildfire
Sons of Anarchy
Dog the Bounty Hunter

Favorite Movies:
"My top 3 favorite movies and why you should see them..."

Top Gun - An Action, Drama, and Romance film that you can watch and enjoy over and over again. Great motorcycle flick (and fighter pilot!) except that Tom Cruise was ridin' a crotch-rocket instead of a REAL bike. Definitely a film with something for EVERYONE to enjoy in it.

Overboard - A Romantic Comedy with plenty of fun to keep you rollin' outta your seat (as well as a good LIFE LESSON of don't judge other people too!). Another GREAT comedy with real life team Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell being outrageously funny and keeping you laughing throughout the movie.

Mask - NOT to be confused with The Mask!!! This is the true story that stars Cher as a deformed boy's mother, and shows bikers as we TRULY are. This is a great Drama and True Story that I consider to be a MUST SEE for everyone. It will definitely touch your heart!
Favorite Books:
I watch more TV/movies than I do reading anymore.

When I do read, it is usually a book on information, psycology, new age beliefs, self-improvement, or some really good fiction.

When I drove truck over-the-road, my husband bought a series of Book of the Road tapes entitled "Mission Earth" by L. Ron Hubbard, and from the parts I heard going to sleep or waking up, I am definitely interested in reading that whole series (10, I believe) of books, and have aquired MOST of the series in paperback already.

I am also very interested in Native American spirituality and Wicca, and have aquired some books on those subjects as well. I read Tarot cards and believe highly in the 'other' senses in helping us to live better lives if we are in tune with them.

I also have a couple of favorite cookbooks that I can't live without. One was my grandmother's and was printed in 1940.

I also read the local paper on occasion.
Favorite Quotes:
My own quotes on life:
"You can take the driver out of the truck, but you can't take the truck out of the driver."
My other favorite original quote is:
"Nermal?!? Who the hell wants to be Nermal? Even Garfield HATES Nermal!!!"
Besides, 'normal' is only someone else's *OPINION* of what a person should be like anyway....
About Me:
I can usually be found watchin' TV/movies, on the computer, and on the phone. I LOVE to enter and WIN sweepstakes, and have WON many NICE prizes this way.

I believe highly in the 'other' senses in helping us to live better lives if we are in tune with them, and I believe in a higher power in our universe. I am still investigating different spiritual beliefs, and I am very drawn to Native American and Wicca beliefs, so I am investigating those at this time.

I came to a very sad, but necessary, decision on Sunday March 02, 2008. After putting some $$$ in my baby, tryin' to get 'er roadworthy again, as well as my friends putting several hours of sweat and time in 'er already as well, it has been determined that it would cost way too many more $$$, as well as another ton of sweat and time to get 'er running and roadworthy again. So, I am going to be tearin' 'er apart, and selling all the usable pieces of 'er on eBay to get the money to buy a new one.
