REFLECTIONS IS A GIFT GIVEN TO US AT TIME OF BIRTH AND A GIFT THAT WE LEAVE WITH WHEN WE DIE. WHO SAID THAT "WE ARE ALL CREATED EQUAL IN GODS EYES"? WHO MEASURE'S WHAT EQUALITY WE ALL EQUAL 2 AT THE END OF THE DAY? IS OUR TRUE IDENTITY HIDDEN IN OUR REFLECTION OR IS IT A SHADOW, THAT WE SEE FROM TIME TO TIME? DO WE REALLY KNOW WHAT REFLECTS A PERSON, OR DO WE ASSUME THAT "WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET"? WHEN YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING, DO U QUESTION THE REFLECTION LOOKING BACK AT U BEING REALLY YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE FROM ANOTHER LIFE? IS THERE SUCH A THING AS THE AFTERLIFE.... IF THERE IS... DO YOU WANT TO COME BACK WITH THE SAME REFLECTION OR ANOTHER ?..... IF YOU'RE ANSWER IS ANOTHER, THEN WHO DO YOU GOT TO BLAME FOR IT, EXCEPT FOR THE 1 STARING BACK AT YOU!!!!! GOD DID'NT PROMISE DAYS WITHOUT PAIN, LAUGHTER W/ OUT SORROW, SUN W/OUT RAIN, BUT HE DID PROMISE STRENGTH 4 THE DAY, COMFORT 4 THE TEARS, AND LIGHT FOR THE WAY. IF GOD BRINGS 2 IT, HE WILL BRING U THRU IT.

Hmmm....just turned 47, wow! Life has been an interesting journey. Lessons in life has made me who I am today.
A Soldier's Prayer...
The soldier stood and faced his God Which must always come to pass...
He hoped his shoes were shining Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, you soldier, How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek? To My Church have you been true?"
The soldier squared his shoulders and Said,"No, Lord, I guess I ain't...
Because those of us who carry guns Can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent, Because the streets are awfully tough.
But, I never took a penny That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked a lot of overtime When the bills got just too steep,
And I never passed a cry for help, Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me, I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place Among the people here...
They never wanted me around Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here, Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much, But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was a silence all around the throne Where the saints had often trod...
As the soldier waited quietly, For the judgment of his God,
"Step forward now you soldier,
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
