Introduction:
Born in Holland, immigrated here as child, lived in NYC upper west side and northern NJ. Left home ASAP cause they said I could not bring a bike there. Came to Colorado, bought a Yamaha 400 endruo, and never left.
Mom was painter and showed me how to see the beauty in the world which is different from most others so I feel out of place at times and some situations where there is nothing but ugliness. Greed, power, money, lies, corruption. So I stay away from these things and spend time in the hills, riding or hiking, taking photos of nature as well as bike events.
Married twice, first 15 years raising her two kids who now have two of their own. She was killed in '95 car crash. Rebound releationshiop 4 yrs brought one daughter, now 12, who i see all the time. Her mom and I are good friends. Just found out about a son 3 who I am trying to get some parenting time with cause I am a good dad and have a lot to offer.
Self educated in electronics and computers and everything else I could find to learn. I was a biker geek of 25 years in big corp and finally quit in 06 to go out and enjoy life. I consider my self as an entrepreneur who is now developing a new nitch market in photographing biker events, rallies and poker runs.
As for dating.... I think the word dating brings some expectations that I don't agree with and get in the way of things. so I don't date. instead I live my life as I choose and invite others to be a part of it. result is I build releationships with both male and females alike. People will end up fitting into my life or not, if they do fit they will fit where they may for as long as they do. I don't force any of it. just let it happen naturally.
I am a social person, life of the party, very intelligent but don't show it. I not afraid of doing or talking about anything, even the most sensitive subjects like sex. Doing so builds intimacy and trust in a releationship and a deeper bond.
I was happy with first life and never wanted or planed on being here, single at this age. I dont need or am out looking for a new 'OL ( Old lady ) but if it happens it happens.
I have ridden a variety of bikes over the years. I now ride an '85 FXST second year evo softail with 4 speed kick start. I put lots of miles on it and its been my only set of wheels for 4 years now. There is no time for cleaning it either, hence it's a dirty "Rat Bike" and took first place for that division in ladies run. No one owns the back seat as I need it like a passenger seat in a car for model shoots and photographers for on the road shots. If you have a problem with that speak up quickly so we don't waste time.
I been through more than my share of life challenges and struggled with childhood daemons like most of us at this age do. I am not without baggage or damage or hang ups and pet peaves and think that anyone who says they have any are liars. Besides I look at it this way, it's not if your compatible in areas that matters, it's if you can deal with the incompatible areas that will make a relationship last. So that is what I want to know, the parts of a person that we tend to hide from others which cause bad releationwhisp to last longer than they should of had we been honest from the start about issues we have.
So here you have it... my life posted publicly on a social web site.. what has this world come to.
I really don't expect to meet Ms Right or any long term lovers here, just a lot of people like me being sociable and seeing what happens. I don't have any expectations from this or anyone i meet which i learned is the best way to approach life. expect nothing so you not disappointed or mad when it does not happen and happy when you get anything.

PS... Ripple is the road name given to me by fellow bikers years ago. if your lucky enough to be a friend I may tell you the story on how I got it. But the only way to learn my legal name is when your standing in kitchen making breakfast, butt ass naked and a smile pasted on your face and want to know how I like my eggs. =8^o Or if you have to bail me out which has never happened so far.
