I was asked the other day, " are you old school or a yuppie wannabe?"
My first response was, " are those my only choices?"
To which I got the following response," don't dance around just answer the fucking question?
So I Politely ended that conversation and blocked that asshole!
I have been riding since I was 5, started out on a mini bike, got into MX racing shortly thereafter. At 14 I got my first street bike, a Honda 305 Superhawk. In all the years that have followed I have had a lot of bikes. My current ride is a Road King that I absolutely love.
The men who taught me to ride used to race at Daytona, back when half of the track was on the beach. I guess today people call them Old School, to me they were just as much a part of my family as my Dad was.
I like many of the Old School ways and beliefs and I have kinda blended those with my own values and beliefs into what I consider My Way!
I am open and honest, polite to everyone except those that are rude. I'll help a freind or a total stranger at the drop of a hat. Respect is given to everyone unless they prove unworthy. If I am in a relationship I don't stray or sneak around. I get choked up when I see our nations flag pass by.
I'm not by any stretch of the imagination perfect, got my faults like everyone else does. But you will find that I am loyal and honest to a fault.
So if you really need to hang a title on me then go ahead and make it what you think is right. Cuz I already know what kind of person I am :-)
Now, if you really want to get a feel for the type of person I am, forget reading all of these words and spend some time listening to my playlist. It will give you more glimpes of what makes me tick. Good Listening!
Love the outdoors, horses- harleys- water- camping- canoeing. Love music, I play guitar, sing and write music. Also one of those strange guys that LOVES to dance :-) Not saying Im good at it, just that I love it.
Just a word about friends. I am happy to add anyone that would like to actually communicate and become friends. If all your looking for is numbers on your wall, please save me the trouble of deleting in active people. I DO, periodically REMOVE Friends that DON'T COMMUNICATE occasionaly!!!! Sorry !
Ask my friends about me and I believe they will say, honest to a fault, strong willed, loyal to the end and awesome in the kitchen, I love to cook, learned from my two Grandma s. Pretty handy with a hammer and a saw, I used to remodel and rennovate houses. I guess I m just an all around " Jack of all Trades"
Easy going, I would MUCH rather- smile than frown, laugh than cry, dance than fight, help than hurt.
A very good friend once described me as very uncomplicated but very complex. It took me a bit to really understand the difference, but when I did I realized what a great compliment it was.

Never mistake kindness for weakness! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have." -Thomas Jefferson- %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it be stifled by dry rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.

About Me: Pretty much "what ya see is what ya get" no one ever has to wonder whats on my mind, or try to figure me out, I'm an open book. I still believe in things that last forever. I once took an oath that included words like, "duty honor country" Been living those words all my life. We all have to right to our own beliefs, values and morals, just don't crap on mine while your enjoying your own.
At times I have been asked, " what do you believe in" Now thats a pretty open ended question, could cover just about anything, or nothing.
First and foremost, I believe in me, in the power to accomplish anything a set my mind to do. It's not always easy, and it doesn't always come right away, but, If you believe in yourself and keep trying it will come.
Religiously, I believe in the Creator, every faith has their own name, but in reality He is the ONE. The big cheese, Chief Poobaa, whatever you call him. It's not important that you believe in the same things I do, nor in your neighbors beliefs. Whats important is that you believe in something. And an excellent place to start is with yourself. Once you accomplish that all things are possible.I recently was reading someones profile here, and in two places they made reference to the difficulty in being able to say, " I love me". some might think that is self centered or egotistical. Au contraire mon ami, if you don't love yourself how can anyone else possibly love you? People ask for or demand respect, where does that start? Yep your absolutely right. You have to respect yourself first.
Things I Don't believe in: Destiny or fate, sorry I just dont buy it. If everything that is going to occur in your life is preset or " pre-destined" then why are we given a brain. NO, from the very beginning we are faced with choices. Do I take the left fork or the right fork ? Do I go straight or back up ? Do I follow this path or another one ? All are choices, and each choice you take will eventually take to another cross roads where you will once again have to make a choice. We follow these pathes all of our lives, some believe we follow then even after life. The path we choose and the pathes we follow determine what we will see, learn, enjoy and appreciate. They also determine who we will meet along the way. As everyone follows their own path we intersect with others who are on thier path as well. The rules for success, choose you pathes wisely, believe in yourself and respect others pathes and beliefs. May you always find fair seas and a favorable following wind. Gator
