The Louisiana Regional Chili Cook Off will be held on March 24, 2012, and The Louisiana State Chili Cook Off will be be held March 25, 2012 on the LSU campus in front of the John M. Parker Coliseum in Baton Rouge. Both these events are sanctioned by the International Chili Society. These events are hosted by the Catholic Radio Baton Rouge and the Knights of Columbus. Proceeds from the event will benefit the children at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital which is the second largest children's hospital in Lousiana, touching the lives of 70,000 children last year. In addition to the Chili Cook-Offs there will be celebrity judges, music, food, drinks. Also, there will be a "Peoples Choice" competition where you will be the judge! Bring the whole family for a weekend of fun.
You can compete in the ICS sanctioned cook-offs, or the People's Choice (non-ICS). If you can also participate as an official judge of the ICS sanctioned cook-offs. It is held in conjuction with the LSU Annual Garden Show and Plant Sale, and the annual Baton Rouge Spring Car Show.

If you don't want to ride that far, come to the Chili Cook-Off over at the Parker Coliseum after the start of the Heart Walk.
