This event is in memory of Eric Wells & thankfull for Kurt Weekly- Mary Mills-George Burt the ones that are here with us today.Every one is welcome to attend.Update this event will start at 9:00 am August 6, 2011. place: East 56th st. and brendan way. Rgistration fee $25 per vehicale no passanger fee. we will start at the crash sitewith registration 9am and then a memorial of silence for ericat the time of the crash. Kickstands up at 12:30..We will ride to the marion county city city-county building. from there we will ride to longacre bar and grill,4813 madison ave, indianapolis, indiana, 317-784-0975...and we will finish the ride at whit's inn, 1020 N Hwy 31, whiteland , IN 317-535-9511.There will be a 50/50 raffle for prizes, tatoo contest, bike show. and a silent auction to raise money to help kurt and mary with there hospital bills. Please come and enjoy a great day with brother and sister in rememberance of eric. Helping thoser who need us and letting indianapolis know that we will not forget!!!!! we demand justice!!!!!!!! ALSO I HAVE BEEN INFORMNED THAT CARS ARE WELCOME SO IF YOU DRIVE OR RIDE COME ON OUT AND SUPPORT A GOOD CAUSE. THIS EVENT WAS STARTED AND PUT TOGETHER BY KRIS WILLIS.

Galalla On August 6, 2010, this horrible tragedy occurred at 11:15am. On August 6, 2011, we will meet at the same place at 10:30 am and be there at 11:15am to remember Eric Wells as well as to show support for Mary Mills, Kurt Weekly and George Burt, as well as the victims family members. We will NOT back down and we will NOT let Indianapolis forget about the heinous actions of the "officer" who killed our brother and nearly killed Kurt and Mary and scarred George for life. Mel My suggestion is quite simple - please pull over if and where safety permits if you happen to encounter the riders this Saturday in a show of support, solidarity and also in the name of safety. It's a small but kinda significant way to send a message and I suspect would also reduce traffic snarls and make things a lot safer for everyone. Please spread the word - Facebook away and tell everybody.

Mel you may also recall that it tooks hours for him to be tested and even when he finally was, the results were ruled inadmissable in court. IMPD cites the lack of availability of a police escort for the ride which would ensure a much safer passage for the 6,000-8,000 riders expected to participate, not to mention the other drivers on the road who may encounter them.

Mel Pull Over for Wells Riders! Greetings, I heard last night on the news (http://tinyurl.com/3zrm2pk) that IMPD refuses to escort the annual Eric Wells Memorial Motorcycle Ride which this year benefits the surviving victims, Mary Wells and Kurt Weekly, of the crash that killed Wells when Officer David Brissard smacked into the bikes as they waited at an intersection.
